Separator technology, Pump technology
The ‘Frankfurter Wirtshaus’ is in a prime location at the entrance to the Old Town, directly opposite the Iron Footbridge. It offers over 150 seats inside and 100 seats on the terrace with a view of the Main. The modern industrial-style furnishings and open-plan kitchen reflect the exclusive location. The restaurant is also technically equipped to a high standard. As greasy wastewater is produced in the kitchen and Frankfurt has particularly strict wastewater regulations, the engineering firm Pahnke + Partner worked with KESSEL to plan a customised drainage solution. The centrepiece is a customised EasyClean free Auto Mix grease separator with integrated post-treatment. By adding a precipitant and flocculant, fine particles are effectively separated - the legal limit values of less than 100 mg/l are reliably adhered to. Particular attention was paid to odour-tight disposal: The shredder-mix system ensures homogenisation of the tank contents without the need to open covers. Disposal takes place via fixed pipes outside the building. In addition, an Aqualift F XL lifting unit with a 200-litre capacity protects against backflow and ensures safe discharge into the public sewer system.
